Tronox Increases Titanium Dioxide Prices in Asia-Pacific

Oklahoma City, June 4, 2008 – Tronox Incorporated (NYSE: TRX, TRX.B), on behalf of its subsidiary companies, today announced that prices for all TRONOX® titanium dioxide (TiO2) grades sold in the Asia-Pacific region will increase by US$150 per tonne, effective July 1, 2008, or as contracts allow. Other increases may be announced locally within the region.

Tronox has and will continue to focus on increasing the efficiency and productivity of its facilities; however, those efforts in isolation cannot be expected to offset the significant increases in freight, energy and other input costs that the TiO2 industry has absorbed over the last two years. TiO2 is a critical raw material for customers, and these increases in addition to the increases announced in December 2007 and March 2008 are required to ensure the industry can profitably reinvest in the business to meet customers’ needs in the future.
